The MG996R from Pro Tronix is a high-torque, metal-gear digital servo that represents an evolution in the “standard size” servo category. While it looks identical to the MG995, the MG996R features a redesigned internal PCB and IC control system which provides much better accuracy and holding power.
This servo is built for toughness. The all-metal gear train ensures that the motor won’t strip under sudden loads, while the double ball-bearing design provides smooth, jitter-free movement.
