Product Description
The Mechanical Endstop Limit Switch is the most reliable and widely used homing sensor for DIY 3D printers, CNC machines, and custom laser cutters. Specifically designed for seamless integration with the RAMPS 1.4 shield and other popular 3D printer controller boards (such as MKS Gen, Creality, and BIGTREETECH), this module acts as a physical boundary detector to safely home your printer’s X, Y, and Z axes.
Mounted on a compact, sturdy PCB, this module features a highly responsive mechanical microswitch with an integrated roller lever for smooth actuation. It includes an onboard status LED that lights up instantly when the switch is triggered, making debugging and leveling incredibly simple. To make installation a breeze, each module comes pre-packaged with a high-quality, pre-crimped 3-pin connection cable.
⚠️ Wiring Warning: Pay close attention to the pin labels on both the endstop board and your controller board. Connecting the cable backwards can create a direct short circuit between the 5V and GND pins on your controller, which can permanently damage your regulator or mainboard.
Connection Interface
The board features a standard 3-pin JST-XH header with color-coded wiring:

VCC (Red Wire): Power input, connects to the 5V or 3.3V pin on your controller board.

GND (Black Wire): Common ground connection.

SIG / OUT (Green or Yellow Wire): Digital output signal.

Idle State: Outputs a High signal (pulled up to VCC).

Triggered State: When the mechanical lever is pressed, the signal line is pulled Low (0V) and the onboard LED illuminates.
