Product Overview
The ESP32-WROOM-32 (38-Pin Version) from Pro Tronix is a powerful upgrade from the ESP8266 and standard Arduino boards. It features the ESP32-D0WDQ6 chip, which contains two independently controlled CPU cores. This allows one core to handle high-speed wireless connectivity while the other runs your complex application logic, preventing crashes and lag.
The 38-pin layout is the “expanded” version of the ESP32, breaking out more GPIOs than the smaller 30-pin variants. It includes built-in Hall effect sensors, capacitive touch sensors, and a massive array of peripheral interfaces like SD card support, high-speed SPI, and hardware UARTs. It is the gold standard for modern DIY IoT development.
