Product Overview
The Magnetic Reed Switch 3-Pin from Pro Tronix offers more flexibility than the standard 2-pin version. By providing three terminals, it functions as a changeover switch. In its default state, the “Common” pin is connected to the “Normally Closed” pin. When a magnetic field is applied, the internal reed moves to connect the “Common” pin to the “Normally Open” pin. This allows you to trigger one action when a magnet is present and a completely different action when it is removed, making it ideal for advanced security and automation logic.
