Product Description
The 24V/12V to 5V 5A DC-DC Buck Converter is a highly versatile, high-current step-down power regulator designed for maximum connectivity and ease of use. It features a wide input range of 9V to 36V DC and steps it down to a stable, regulated 5.2V output, capable of delivering up to 5A (25W continuous power).
What sets this module apart is its user-friendly interface: you can power it via the blue screw terminals or the integrated female DC barrel jack. On the output side, you can tap into the regulated 5V rail using either the output screw terminals or the onboard USB Type-A female port. Utilizing highly efficient synchronous rectification, it converts power with up to 95% efficiency, keeping heat generation to a minimum. Additionally, it features an integrated fast-charge recognition IC, making it fully compatible with Android and iOS devices.
⚠️ Output Voltage Note: The output is designed to sit at approximately 5.2V rather than a flat 5.0V. This is an intentional design feature to automatically compensate for the voltage drop that naturally occurs over longer USB cable runs, ensuring your connected devices receive a full, stable 5V supply.
