Product Overview
The A4988 is a complete microstepping motor driver with a built-in translator for easy operation. It allows you to control a bipolar stepper motor using only two pins from your controller: one for controlling the step direction and the other for the steps. This module is the “gold standard” for DIY 3D printers, CNC machines, and robotic arms.
Arduino Wiring & Connections

VMOT / GND: External Power (8V – 35V) for the motor.

VDD / GND: Arduino 5V / GND for logic.

STEP: Arduino Digital Pin (controls speed).
