The 400kV High-Voltage Pulse Arc Generator is a compact, high-efficiency step-up power inverter designed for generating high-voltage electric arcs. Operating on a low-voltage input from a single 3.7V Lithium-ion battery (like an 18650) or a 7.4V battery pack, this module utilizes the principle of a Tesla coil subclass circuit to output a powerful, high-frequency, high-voltage electrical pulse.

Encased in a rugged, hermetically sealed cylindrical shell, the module’s internal components are fully potted in insulating epoxy. This protective layer shields the high-voltage step-up transformer and capacitor networks from humidity and physical impacts. It is highly valued for scientific research, negative ion generation, physical demonstrations, and DIY electronic igniters.

Pinout / Layout Connections

The module features simple, color-coded wiring divided into low-voltage input and high-voltage output terminals:

• Input Wires (Thin Wires at one end):

  • Red Wire: Connect to the positive terminal of your battery/DC power source.

  • Green or Blue/Black Wire: Connect to the negative terminal of your power source (GND).

• Output Wires (Thick, highly-insulated Red/White wires at the opposite end):

  • Double Red (or Orange/White thick leads): High-voltage pulse output terminal lines.
