The HTTM (Heltec Touch Model) Capacitive Touch Switch is a sleek, highly responsive, non-mechanical button designed to bring a premium, modern feel to your control panels. Operating on the principle of charge-transfer capacitive sensing, it registers touch smoothly even when placed behind non-metallic overlays like glass, acrylic, or plastic up to 4mm thick.

This variant features an eye-catching, vibrant BlueLED backlight. The backlight behaves dynamically to provide intuitive user feedback: it glows at a soft, subtle level when idle, and instantly brightens to full intensity upon touch registration. Because there are no moving parts to wear out, the HTTM module is dust-resistant, highly durable, and completely immune to the mechanical fatigue that plucks at traditional tactile buttons.

Pinout / Layout Connections

The module comes with a pre-soldered 3-pin male header on a standard 2.54mm pitch:

• • VCC: Positive input voltage supply (supports $+2.7\text{V}$ to $+6\text{V}$ DC).

  • GND: Common system ground reference ($0\text{V}$).

  • OUT: Digital signal output.

    • Idle (No Touch): Outputs Low logic state ($0\text{V}$).

    • Active (Touched): Outputs High logic state (matches VCC voltage level, e.g., $+5\text{V}$ or $+3.3\text{V}$).

    • Advanced Configuration Solder Pads (On back of PCB):

      • Pad A (Latching/Momentary toggle): By default, the output is momentary (active only while touched). Bridging Pad A with solder configures the module to self-lock/latch (toggles High on touch, stays High until touched again)
