Product Overview
The YF-S201 Water Flow Sensor from Pro Tronix consists of a high-quality plastic valve body, a water rotor, and a Hall-effect sensor. When water flows through the rotor, it rolls and triggers the Hall sensor, which outputs a pulse signal for every revolution. This frequency is proportional to the velocity of the liquid.
Its standard 1/2″ (DN15) threaded connections make it incredibly easy to install into standard plumbing pipes or garden hose systems. Because it outputs a simple digital pulse, it is widely favored by the maker community for projects requiring precise liquid tracking, leak detection, or batch control.
