Arduino Nano Clone | ATmega328P | CH340 Serial Chip
Product Overview
The Arduino Nano CH340 Clone from Pro Tronix is a small, complete, and breadboard-friendly board based on the ATmega328P microcontroller. While the original Arduino Nano uses an FTDI chip for USB communication, this version utilizes the CH340G USB-to-Serial converter.
Functionally, the boards are identical: they run the same code, have the same amount of memory, and operate at the same speed. The primary difference is the price and the need for a specific driver (CH340) for your computer to recognize the board. Its compact size makes it the go-to choice for projects where space is at a premium, such as wearable electronics or small robotics.

-
Full Compatibility: Works with the standard Arduino IDE, libraries, and existing Nano shields.
-
Flexible Powering: Can be powered via the USB connection, an unregulated 6-12V supply (VIN pin), or a regulated 5V external power source.

Common Applications
-
Miniature Robotics: The brain of choice for small 2WD or 4WD robot cars.
-
Wearable Electronics: Small enough to be hidden in clothing or 3D-printed gadgets.
-
Home Automation: Controlling relays, sensors, and displays in smart home nodes.
-
Prototyping: A staple for testing circuits on a breadboard before moving to a custom PCB.
💡 Setup Tip: To program this board, you will need to install the CH340 Driver on your computer. Additionally, in the Arduino IDE, if the code fails to upload, go to Tools > Processor and select “ATmega328P (Old Bootloader)”.
