Arduino Nano Every ABX00028
Product Overview
The Arduino Nano Every (ABX00028) from Pro Tronix is a miniature-sized module designed to provide a more powerful and reliable alternative to the classic Arduino Nano. While it maintains the exact same footprint and pinout, it is powered by the ATMega4809, a modern AVR processor running at 20 MHz.
This board is particularly suited for projects that have outgrown the memory limits of a standard Uno or Nano. With 48 KB of Flash and 6 KB of SRAM, you can write much larger programs and handle more variables. It also features a revised power tree using a high-efficiency DC-DC converter (MPM3610), allowing it to be powered by up to 21V without overheating.

Key Features
-
Increased Memory: 50% more program memory and 3x the RAM compared to the original Nano, making it ideal for complex logic and data processing.
-
Modern Power Management: The integrated switching regulator handles high input voltages (up to 21V) much more efficiently than the linear regulators found on older boards.
-
Hardware Serial Ports: Features four hardware USARTs, allowing you to communicate with multiple serial devices (like GPS, GSM, or Bluetooth) without needing “SoftwareSerial.”
-
Dual-Use Design: The board features castellated pads, meaning it can be plugged into a breadboard with headers or soldered directly onto a PCB for a lower profile.
-
USB-UART Bridge: Uses the ATSAMD11D14A chip as a dedicated bridge, ensuring stable and fast code uploads via Micro-USB.
Arduino Nano Every vs. Nano V3.0
| Feature | Nano V3.0 (Classic) | Nano Every |
| Processor | ATmega328P | ATMega4809 |
| Clock Speed | 16 MHz | 20 MHz |
| SRAM | 2 KB | 6 KB |

Common Applications
-
Wearable Inventions: Small enough to be embedded into clothing or accessories.
-
Low-Cost Robotics: Powerful enough to manage multiple sensors and motor drivers simultaneously.
-
Smart Metering: Ideal for logging data from electricity or water meters.
-
Complex Prototypes: Using the extra RAM for memory-intensive libraries like those for OLED displays or complex sensors.
