Product Overview
The Arduino Mega 2560 R3 from Pro Tronix is the ultimate upgrade for makers who have outgrown the limitations of the Arduino Uno. Powered by the ATmega2560 microcontroller, this board provides significantly more “room to grow” with four times the flash memory and eight times the SRAM of the Uno.
Its standout feature is the massive array of 54 digital I/O pins, allowing you to control dozens of LEDs, sensors, and actuators simultaneously without needing multiplexers. It also features 4 hardware serial ports (UARTs), which is a lifesaver for projects requiring simultaneous communication with multiple devices like GPS modules, Bluetooth, and Nextion displays. The R3 version also adds dedicated SDA and SCL pins for easier I2C communication.
